OUR MACKAY PHOTOGRAPHY STUDIO
The studio has a variety of maternity dresses, wraps and props for your photography session, in Mackay located in the suburb of Glenella.
I love to create beautiful portraits for my clients, that will be cherished by them and generations to come in fine art prints, boxes, albums, shelf and wall art.
Our clients come into the studio for a design consultation where you touch, feel, hold and see the quality of the fine art prints, albums, boxes, crystal blocks, wood prints, canvases and metal prints.
Your $250 session fee includes my time, the design consultation, use of the studio and props, culling/editing of gallery and the ordering appointment for you to view, select and purchase products. All products, prints and images are purchased separately from the session fee.
Before your session
Thank you for considering me to capture these cherished and fleeting moments for you and your family in our Mackay photography studio. To enquire about a session with me, please contact me to arrange a studio consultation as my calendar does fill quickly.
At your studio consultation we will discuss the specifics and this is where we plan out your session- think colours, props and clothing. This will allow me to get to know you and give me a better idea of what you are looking for. We will go over the pricing, products and wall art options. This is also when you decide if you would like to go ahead and move forward to book your session!
Technically, the process is simple, but your maternity, newborn and family photos are going to last a lifetime so it’s important to take the time to consider what you want from the session.
It’s important to think about where you would like to display your wall art, what your style is and what colours will suit your homes decor.
During your session
Our session will range from one – three hours for a newborn session in our Mackay studio depending on baby as this gives them time to feed, nappy changes and settling for a stress-free session.
Upon arrival we will chat about the session and confirm your choices from your consultation, address any last-minute questions and start the shoot. You will get to sit back, relax and watch your session.
We will plan to experiment with many poses within your chosen colour themes. If you have something specific in mind that you have seen from my website or socials, please be sure to share it with me!
After your session
After your session, some clients prefer to view immediately after their session especially if travelling from out of town. So, I will download the portraits from your session and we will go through to choose your favourites, your package, products and wall art. For those who are not travelling or viewing after their session I will organise with you will come back in another week or two for your viewing and ordering appointment I will soft proof the gallery and fully edit a couple of images to show the end result.
Once you have decided which prints, packages and wall art you would love for your home and gift prints for family the editing is finalised and your finished art is ordered, this generally takes between three to five weeks.
My job is to take beautiful photographs that you love and will cherish forever, with prints that will be handed down the generations. You only purchase the images you love, so you can spend as little or as much as you like depending on what you love!
